IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System. It is a standardized test which measures a person’s proficiency in English Language. Its scores are of utmost importance and hold good in many universities. A good IELTS score is mandatory for admission in the abroad universities. Apart from a good IELTS score, universities also expect a good GPA (Grade Point Average) from the students from their past education.
IELTS test is also having two types: -
- IELTS Academic : If a person is planning to attend university for an undergraduate or postgraduate degree or want to work with a professional organisation, he/she needs to take the IELTS Academic test.
- IELTS General Training : For studying courses below degree level, work-related training or intend to emigrate to the country, IELTS General Training will provide a person with the language skills in which he/she needs to participate fully in his/her respective country of choice.
